Welcome to the Crossroads Chess Club Headquarters!

We need volunteers!  With a group this large, we have a wide range of student familiarity with chess.  A few more parent volunteers, even on occasion, will allow us to better focus on the range of student needs.

What the heck is Bughouse?

Special thanks to:  program coordinator Ms. Marni, and parent facilitator Mr. Gaku.
The Fall/Winter 2010 Chess Club Schedule is now available.  Visit the Club Business page to view information about the schedule, Thursday standings, and more.  Parents should visit the About the Club and the Program Structure page to learn more about CCCH.

Visit the Internet Resources page for links to available (mostly) free online resources.

Chess Rules

We occasionally field questions from parents who disagree with the rules their children learn.  We do use the official rules of chess.  (The linked rules are from the European group, FIDE, which at this level is identical to the rules of the US Chess Federation.  FIDE posts their rules on-line for free, USCF does not.)  Please use the contact page to reach us if you have any questions about the rules.
